Veteran video gamers will recognize many of their favorite characters sprinkled throughout “Goon City”. Most won’t connect with this artwork but nerds like me, will definitely enjoy browsing around the Google Map-like world.

Crazy, isn’t it?
I came across some surreal photos by Chinese artist, Li Wei. They remind me of the uncanny lapse in reality of dreams. While from my understanding, he occasionally use some Photoshop, most of these images were created using wires and mirrors.
On a general note, artist continually impress me with their creativity. Their talent and manipulation of the tools at hand, is intimadating and inspiring.

Over the years I’ve come across realistic portrayals of classic video game icons. I find it extremely interesting to see artist’s perspective. Framing these classic characters in alternate worlds furthers its surrealism. Where can I buy some of these sweet art prints?
